Wonder Girls, Korea’s top five-member girl group, will be in Singapore for a one night only performance on 8th September 2012 at the Resorts World Convention Centre™, Compass Ballroom on Sentosa.
The highly-anticipated Wonder World Tour 2012kicked off on July 7 at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul, attracting a total of 6,000 fans. The concert marks Wonder Girl’s first independent concert in Korea in three years, as they make their way back to Asia following their success in America. During the concert, the girls were moved to tears as they interacted with their fans, saying: “We’ve been together for the past 6 years, and we are just grateful to be here together.”
The Wonder World Tour 2012 is also Wonder Girls’ first full solo gig in Singapore and the members, consisting of leader Sun, rapper Yubin, vocalist Yenny, Lim, and Sohee, have vowed to showcase the best of what they have learnt and experienced during their stint overseas.
Wonder Girls, best known for their infectious catchy tunes and synchronized sleek dance moves, will be treating their fans to a string of hits including popular tracks ‘Tell Me’, ‘So Hot’, ‘Nobody’ and ‘Be My Baby’, as well as songs from their latest album Wonder Party including the chart-topping ‘Like this’ and ‘Girlfriend’. Their famous hit ‘Nobody’ has enjoyed success worldwide, with fans of all ages familiar with the choreographed dance steps. The English version of the song had even entered the prestigious Billboard Hot 100 Chart in 2009, making Wonder Girls the first Korean artists to rank in the American music chart.
