Head to Parkway Parade, for the annual Crazy Sale. The sale, which starts today, will feature a whopping 108 retailers, with discounts of up to 70 per cent off items.

Post-events include the Crazy Weekly Lucky Draw and The Biggest Spender, where customers stand to win prizes such as an iPad worth $958 and a trip for two to Paris.

“The Sale features several attractive and exciting sales events that aim to extend irresistibly exclusive bargains at greatly reduced prices, as well as lucky draws to entice shoppers with offers of cumulative winning opportunities,” said a spokesman for the mall.

The sale kicks off todaywith Crazy Hourly Buys, where offers are featured by the hour.

“This is a highly anticipated sale event, both by shoppers and retailers,” said the spokesman, noting that the sale had been well-received in the 12 years it has been running.

Advertising executive Reemas Chua, 40, is planning to head to the sale, especially after seeing an eight-page advertising special in my paper last Wednesday that featured the upcoming must-have buys.

“I’m definitely looking forward to it; it’s a once-a-year event and I have informed all my family, friends and colleagues about it,” said Mr Chua, who visits Parkway regularly.

“I think all the Parkway retailers are participating, so there’s bound to be good variety,” he said. He expects to work up an appetite while shopping, but isn’t worried about that.

“I can just pop over to the food outlets to eat when I’m done shopping. Best yet, I’ll be able to find food on sale at a discount,” he said.
