One big Lady Gaga fan in Singapore is Barci, the happening ‘chick’ mascot from Nando’s, who could not stay away from the excitement of the arrival of pop music’s most unorthodox queen.

Decked out in the finest Gaga feathers, Barci gathered with Lady Gaga fans outside the Indoor Stadium on May 28, hoping to catch a glimpse of the music star.

It took a dedicated designer and two helpers to get Barci into its Lady Gaga outfit, but the effort was more than worthwhile when Barci transformed into a flashy image of Lady Gaga.

Die-hard Lady Gaga fans were amused by Gaga-style antics of Barci, and swamped it with requests for photographs.

Barci has appeared in landmark events around the world ever since its creation. From street dancing in Toronto to skateboarding in central London, Barci’s antics have been the source of entertainment and amusement for thousands.

Since arriving in Singapore in 2010, Barci has been delighting the public with unexpected appearances in notable events, including the Youth Olympic Games in 2010 and One Direction flash mob in 2012.
